Represent Yourself Accurately

If you don't otherwise teach or work at Harvard, your official appointment title with the Extension School is "Continuing Education/Special Program Instructor" and that is how you are listed in the Harvard directory if you are an instructor. We suggest you refer to yourself as "Instructor, Harvard Extension School."  Please do not give yourself the title of "Professor, Harvard Extension School" or "Professor, Harvard University."  If you are a teaching assistant in an Extension School course, you are listed as "DCE Teaching Support" in the directory.  We suggest you refer to yourself as "Teaching Assistant, Harvard Extension School."
